Our winters in Alberta, Canada are very cold, so we are lucky to be able to wear our knits 5 months of the year. To me, there is nothing like wrappingmyself up in a squishy garter shawl, better yet one with cashmere! Sweet Fiber Cashmerino worsted has a beautiful twist, and when knit in garter stitch it has a beautiful drape. Worsted weight shawls can sometimes seem heavy, so this one is knit at a loose gauge to give it an airy quality. As an alternative, you could work with fingering weight held double.
