Pattern notes: These festive mini hats can be used on a garland of i-cord or as a gift topper or ornament! They are constructed using fingering weight yarn held double, but worsted weight, held single, can be substituted. Instructions are written for magic-loop method but you can use dpns if you prefer. See last page for pattern tips. Use up any of the left over scraps to have fun making pompoms.
Size: Each mini hat is approximately 3” tall without the pompom.
Materials: Hueloco Color Riot Mini Set in the color Naughty Christmas held double, Merino Sock 80% SW Merino 20% Nylon 10- 20 g minis. Amounts used listed on each pattern, these do not include pompom weights.
4.5mm/US 7 32” needle. 2- 4.5mm/US7 DPN needles for the optional icord.

Optional pompom ideas:To make faux fur looking pompom, you use faux fur yarn from at Michaels or Joanne’s with a pompom maker, messy but worth it, they turned out looking just like a faux fur pompom.
Gauge: Gauge isn’t important, but will change finished dimensions and yardage.
