1 PDF Pattern
This is the complimentary cowl to the Hahnel Hat. I have used DK for this pattern but you could easily substitute worsted or fingering held double. This cowl was named after Renee Hahnel, the amazing dyer behind Spun Right Round yards. Her colors have inspired several of my designs…XO
Size:
One size fits most. Finished cowl measurements: 11.5” W 10.5” H approx.
Gauge:
22 sts and 28 rows over 4”/10cm in stockinette stitch before any blocking.
Materials:
MC: Spun Right Round Squish DK,
100% superwash merino, 250yds/115g.
Colorway, Reaper’s Rags, 70g used.
CC: Spun Right Round, Classic Sock Mini,
100% superwash merino
Mini Set, 10 x 87yds/20g.
Mini Set colorway, Art Show, 8g used for each CC
stripe.
Needles:
4.5mm/US 7 24” needle.
Notions:
Tapestry needle and a stitch marker.
